Unlike the yellow cartridges, the black, magenta and cyan cartridges are durable and of the highest quality. When using the right paper, the quality is as good as one of the so-called inkjet photo printers. Caution: Inkjet photo paper is a disaster for laser inkjet printing: high temperatures will ruin your work. Find super white hard surface paper and photo printing instead and save big on inkjet cartridge costs. Yellow cartridges are a low-capacity horror: I used three yellow cartridges for each of the other three colors. HP recognizes this because the yellow cartridge is more expensive than other cartridges. Sigh!
