I'm replacing some old cables that have gotten a little finicky/faulty and have a nice, firm fit, nice rubberized finish that feels and grips nice, and I especially love the spring-loaded wire where it's occurs hard plastic plugs on both ends. This seems to be the weak point in most cables (including the ones I replace) and bending stress is often the reason why it fails. That spring seems to hold things in alignment to keep them from snapping and it looks like it should be a stronger cord overall.
