I like this small vacuum cleaner. Of course, you can't expect suction power to be the same as cord-powered vacuums, but that's why I got it. I have a handmade rug with long tufts of fur that have always held up my Neato before. This little vacuum cleaner easily gets over it. It still sucks, but without damage, my super sucker would certainly call Oreck. It is also great for stairs. We have a Y-shaped staircase with many steps. I used to hate vacuuming them either with a heavy upright vacuum or while kneeling down with a handheld vacuum (the ladders are hard wood so don't need super suction). This lightweight vacuum cleaner is a great "in between" option. The brush has a low enough profile to fit under most furniture. It's also narrower than a regular brush and fits perfectly without twisting in tight spots like around the toilet.
