Review on Convenient and Versatile BESTEK Power Strip with USB: Vertical Cube Design, πŸ”Œ 3 Outlets, 3 USB & 1 Type-C Ports, Detachable Base, 5-Foot Extension Cord by Caroline Saunders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's so close to perfect, but not *quite*!

Of course I wish Revane had half a star. This is a solid 4.5 star product. It's so close to perfect, but not *quite* - so I pulled myself together. This thing is a nice shape and size - it has creative packaging and looks great wherever you put it like it's meant to be there and not an afterthought. The installable base is great, keeps it where you want it and keeps it from floating. The long, angled power cord offers flexibility and clearance, and even the power cord insulation is surprisingly flexible, not stiff. Places where it doesn't hit the boat: The power cord looks unnecessarily bulky. for 15a i think it might be a little under caliber. The included screws are perfect if you want to attach it to wood, but clearly too short for drywall or similar. The AC outlets are always on, but the USB outlets are controlled by a small button. This discrepancy is kind of annoying, since you can't control the device with a wall switch (because the button has to be pressed to turn the USB ports back on), nor can you use it to control AC devices (because the AC outlets are always on ). ). ). ). It would be great if the button controlled all output, there was no button or the button remembered if it was last on or off. either way! However, nothing else I could find even remotely matched the size, shape and function of this device, so it has now found a place in my home. I'm not sorry but maybe they write it perfectly for v3.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
