I wanted some color in my usual ink drawings. I use a dip pen and am an art teacher so I've used LOTS of different products to find the best value for money. The nibs are of normal quality, but be sure to place them briefly on an open flame to remove the oil, otherwise the ink will not stick. Black is not the same as Indian speedball ink. When diluted, it is lighter and slightly blue. True dark colors do not exist as many of them are very light. I really liked the box it came in because I gutted it and turned it into an ink brush tool box.
