When it was released this adapter was great and fully deserved 5 stars, but Microsoft has changed the way the Xbox One Controller communicates over Bluetooth with the controller firmware update that was released in September of 2021. As a result, the XB1 controller will still connect to the adapter, but it no longer functions. This isn't Mayflash's fault and the new firmware also affects the 8BitDo adapter, however this is a very big issue for a lot of people and there's no mention of this on the store page here on Revain. The product page on Mayflash's website has a tiny little addition to one of the pictures that mention this, but there is nothing under the pairing instructions. Mayflash has released a new adapter that does work with the XB1 controller called the Magic-S Pro 2 so you should buy it instead.
