I (student, active, with narrow feet) bought these sandals thinking I could prove the reviews wrong, but they were right: the midfoot straps fit strange. While the three front straps have elastic to allow for a wider foot, if your feet aren't as wide or high as sandals, the straps have holes. The straps also strangely start in the middle of the foot, both on the sides and from the toe, leaving many sandals around the foot. I bought 8 of Canyon Black Iris and wear 7.5 and 8/8.5 sandals. Shoes. These sandals run large, so if you're a half size down, go down one size. *Maybe that's why they don't suit me. *What appears to be white/light gray in the buckle photos is actually a slightly muted lavender color, very pretty and subtle.
