. BUT when I wear a sling around my smart keyboard case I can't put my iPad on a flat surface so using a pencil is for agony. When I use the keyboard, the case doesn't bother me, but now I have to remove the sling to use the pen. got it live on the case. Now it's fully detachable for use so it doesn't get in the way when I need it flat. A little workaround and everything is still awesome. Up to 5 stars. Edit: The small pocket inside the charging adapter storage pouch is torn from the seam. I rarely use the charging adapter so this happened after the third use makes me sad. Rating to 4 stars
