I was pretty happy with these out of the package and after trying on. I aired them out for a few days and the smell was gone and they fit me perfectly…at firstI’m 5’3”, 140, short torso, carry my weight in my midsection, minimal hips or backside, and have legs built like an old soccer player (bigger thighs and calves). I usually wear a 6 in old navy jeans or a 9 in juniors.These are pretty high waisted on me but I actually prefer it. I put them on to wear out and noticed how long they are which isn’t unusual on me and that the ankles kept bunching no matter how I tucked them in my boots, even within socks. Then the waist started to stretch to the point it made the crotch sag and I couldn’t keep them up. All within less than 10 minutes of having them on. Needless to say I’m glad I didn’t actually wear them out. I’m hoping a medium will fit better but if they stretch half as much as the others they will still be to big
