I rarely write reviews at first. Probably made three in my life. This product worked so well I had to go for it. About 12 years ago there was a crack in the foundation of my flooded basement. In the last 12 years, the wall will leak very little if it rains a lot. I've tried everything from hydrocements to amazing products like Flex Seal. Nothing worked. Access to the crack from the outside is not possible due to the underground pool and concrete walkway. I've looked at other options with products that you inject into crack. The only problem is that the lower part where most of the water gets in is the hairline. I called two contractors to look at them and the lowest price was $1,000. I was told the only way was to grind and drill the crack wider and then use a super duper epoxy. My son asked his teacher at the HS store for ideas. This product was his suggestion. The first thing I did was take a diamond grinder and give the place a good clean. I also grounded a small U channel along the crack. The problem I had was active water seepage. I fixed it with a propane tour. Put the flame in the crack and heat it so that the water stays for at least 10-20 minutes. Knowing that this would stop the flow, the final step was to flush the area with acid. This removed all chalk residue from the site. Another swipe of the torch and both connections blended. It was a little thinner than I expected, but there were still a few issues. It was two days ago. It rained twice after installation, no leaks. Hard as a rock. I have attached three photos to this review. First you see the brown color on the wall. This dirt seeping into the second was after I sanded down the crack and made marks to aid in the epoxy bonding to the wall. The last is the finished product. I am very happy with this product and it works better than expected.
