My daughter asked for this and was 100% satisfied until it broke in less than 24 hours. This is her favorite type of squeezable toy - a type of water balloon - and she absolutely loves it. I have to admit that it was surprisingly pleasant, so I understand her point as best as I can. But it's a tiny, cheap toy like you find in a dollar store. And for the dollar, I absolutely agree. But it's not the kind of toy that looks like it came from anywhere other than the dollar store. And since it broke so quickly (which really annoyed her as it had been her favorite toy for a while) it only confirms my disapproval and there's no way I want to pay more for this toy than I would willingly pay for soda. It feels more like a party favor to me than a legitimate toy, and that's about the durability we got from it. If it hadn't broken in one day I would have given it a higher rating than I have given it personally. on it because she really liked it and it had distracted her during a recent vaccination. But $10 a day is too much for any toy.
