This 11 inch frying pan gets used both on weekends and many days of the week. It has an even heat distribution, but liquids (like eggs) tend to spill out at the edges because of the bump in the center of the pan. Because of this hump, liquids boil faster in the center, requiring you to constantly stir them from the edges toward the center until they set. It's probably a good idea to do this on solids as well. If it's an intentional design it needs reconsideration, but if the pan was flat when new then that's a defect that should be covered by a lifetime warranty . The handle attached to the pan definitely needs to be replaced. Viewed from the side of the pan there are two obvious attachment points so you might think the handle is attached to the pan with this, but the handle is twisted. Tighten the screws, I found that only one screw attaches the handle to the pan. I tried to tighten it but it was as tight as it could be and still twisted. I loosened a screw holding the handle and saw that nothing was holding the handle in a fixed position. Also, there were marks on the pan that indicated the snail was in contact with the pan. This meant the screw was countersunk before the handle was tightened. I didn't have any shorter bolts so I added some washers to the bolt. This tightened the grip, but it still turned. This is definitely a design flaw and can easily be remedied by creating a tighter connection between the handle and the aluminum block that is riveted to the pan. Another solution would be to push those rivets into the mounting screws that the aluminum block slides over and then attach the handle. I'm sure this will increase the price of the pan. To keep the price down, the manufacturer felt this was enough. I also have chipped paint on the bottom like some of the others and that's without having to see the inside of the dishwasher. , and always washed with no other items in the sink, but contact with a stainless steel sink would probably be enough to chip the paint. Mine bent a bit too, but that didn't affect cooking efficiency, and that should be covered by a lifetime warranty too. Considering the imperfections, I'm still happy with my purchase, but if it continues to warp or the hump in the middle gets bigger, I'll look for a replacement.
