I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars overall, not just 4 stars. I have a current generation 9.7" iPad that replaced my old iPad, so I needed a new case for my new iPad. I was looking for a thin yet protective genuine leather case. I chose Grexmil as it meets my criteria.Starting with the front flap,it's very durable,with a soft felt interior to protect the screen.It contains powerful magnets that keep the case closed and require little effort to open,as well as waking up the iPad when you opening it. The lid also has two grooves to accommodate the screen from two different viewing angles. The iPad is held by a skin-attached plastic case that has all the cutouts for the switches, inputs, and speakers. The cutouts are very precise on the Lightning Port, speakers, power jack, microphone and headphone jack A very minor complaint would be the out cutting the side volume control. This cutout appears to fit both the 9.7-inch iPad and the iPad Air. The volume switch is off-center, so I had trouble turning the volume up because the top of the switch is too close to the top of the notch, but that's a minor issue. Another very minor complaint is the bezels on the side that hold the screen in place. I wanted a slim case and I got it! The bezels hold the iPad firmly in place but barely cover the sides of the screen. I'm also worried about turning the volume down as there's only a very thin piece of plastic along the length of the screen and I don't know how long it will last. I think that's the price you pay for a slick, slim case. Overall I am very happy with this case. The leather is great and the whole body feels very solid for such a compact body. I've only had it for two weeks so time will tell how durable the entire case is. The price was right since I bought it on sale for $19.99. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a stylish case that offers ample protection.
