This is my third French Press that I have bought! I used to have 2 Bodum French presses and each of them broke. I never put them in the dishwasher or anything, just washing my hands broke them. So I told myself I'd use something more permanent, so I figured I'd go with this stainless steel press. This is a great purchase! Whenever I've had a glass French press, the coffee didn't stay hot all the time. I usually prepare my coffee and let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the aroma to develop, then pour it into my Yeti mug to keep me warm, then place the mug next to me to drink while I do prepare in the morning. This French press stays hot for 30 minutes, which I can safely say. It's like the Yeti of the French press. I love it! I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!
