Review on Optimize SEO: ASICS GEL-Kayano 21 Women's Running Shoe by Lindsey Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall great shoe with a good fit

Overall great shoe with a good fit, good arch support and cushioning and lighter than other Asics shoes. Below I wrote about the dimensions and comparison with the GT 2000 in case you need help. I've been wearing various Asics models for walking, running, tennis and aerobics for the past seven years. Since my old Asics GT 2000s were worn out after a long time, I decided it was time for a new pair. The recently redesigned GT 2000's get terrible reviews but I've never tried the Gel-Kayano 21. I have a flat, wide foot, especially wide on top of my foot. To help you understand what foot type I have - I usually walk in regular street shoes and always take the usual width in Asics. Normally I wear street shoes of normal width, but shoes like strappy sandals never fit me because of the width in the toe area and I often have problems with narrow, pointed heels. The new GT 2000 models are getting bad reviews from people saying they are too narrow and not the right size. People say they had to place big orders when they've never had to place big orders before. I couldn't find them in any stores near me and didn't want to order/return multiple pairs just to get the right size, so I decided to try the Gel-Kayano. What great shoes! I had no issues with the width or length and ordered my normal size and width. They have amazing cushioning and feel a lot lighter than the GT 2000. I'm glad I switched to the Kayanos and won't be going back to the GT 2000. I always order half a size up for a little more room.
