I was concerned that my desk would be too thin to support my new attachable monitor arms. I installed it anyway and noticed a tension on the edge of the table where the clamp was attached. With my two monitors, I could see the entire arrangement flexing my desk. I got worried and started thinking about how to fix this. Of course I could use parts of the board to fold my table, but then it would look gaudy. Would work for sure, but sticky. I wanted something thinner and more out of the way. I found this product among many others, but ultimately settled on this one. The product arrived, I installed it between the clamp, voila. It does what it's made for. Reinforces thin countertops without looking too flashy.
