Hard to believe that Super Mario Brothers turns 35 this year. Nintendo's best-selling franchise has continued to shine over the years, including some of the biggest games of all time, like Nintendo 64-era Super Mario 64 and the mega-hit Super Mario Odyssey for Switch. Many third parties also honor Mario with great accessories made specifically for the Switch. This year they had to step up due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the general slowdown in Nintendo production due to the virus. Fortunately, third-party companies have done well. HORI has some decent Switch accessories, and this wired Switch controller works pretty well. You can use this by keeping your Switch connected to your TV while playing your favorite games like The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and Sonic Mania. In this mini switch controller, Bowser and Mario share the spotlight as they celebrate 35 years of mayhem and fun. However, I wish the controller had more options for hardcore Switch owners. While you can use it just fine, you don't have amiibo vibration support in games like Super Mario Odyssey.
