This rope basket is definitely very large. If you use it for washing, it can hold two loads or a medium-sized child playing hide and seek. I like to put a large rope basket in the corner of the living room where we put our blankets when we're not using them. It comes folded like everyone else, very deformed. They include instructions on how to use a steamer to return it to its round shape, and then stuff it with blankets and pillows to expand it. It stands by itself without tipping over. The color matches exactly what you see online, tan/brown and cream. It's built very well, no sticking or jerking and looks like it will last a lifetime.
