Review on VTech CS6719 Cordless Caller Waiting by Reginald Sealy

I bought this phone because a reputable website recommended it as the best cheap phone. Now I have lost faith in this site. This is without a doubt the worst land line I have ever had. When dialing numbers, the buttons go under the case. Feels very cheap and uncomfortable. When a number is pressed there is a delay before you hear the accompanying "beep". This is very annoying and slows down the speed at which you can enter numbers. The writing on the LCD screen is very small and the backlight turns off after just a few seconds. The worst thing about this phone. Sometimes it doesn't dial the actual number you entered! I seemed to dial the wrong number at times, which I attributed to the awful button design. BUT one day I entered a number before I pressed the talk button to make sure I entered the correct number, pressed TALK to call that number and received a record that the number I dialed was out of service . The entry repeated the actual number I dialed and after double checking the numbers on the phone screen they were not the same. This phone is garbage!
