I moved into an apartment complex that happened to have a balcony that faced the right direction to get DirecTV. The only problem was that the administration in no way allowed to fix the panel to the building, so the only option was to put it on the balcony, fix it to the railing. The door from the balcony to the apartment is a sliding glass door, with no other windows or doors for the cable to run through. I ordered this cable from Revain while the DirecTV installer was there and they confirmed it was the cable they normally carry on the truck (unfortunately it was missing during installation). After receiving the cable, the instructions were simple enough to mold the cable around the recess in the sliding door frame. Now the sliding door fully closes and latches, but the screen part doesn't close simply because it's too thin to put the cable through the hole. It doesn't bother me, so I'm not deducting a star for that. Good product, it's quite strong so seems to hold up. I don't open the sliding door very often and very carefully close it slowly so as not to damage the cable.
