I like this camera so far. It took a few tries to figure it out, but I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. When ice fishing, I drill 2 holes as close together as possible without touching each other (an inch or two apart) and place the camera (horizontally, not vertically) in one hole and the bait in the other. From there you need to twist the camera cable until you see the bait. This can be difficult in muddy waters. In this case, use a larger lure or you will be able to see it better. Once you have the lure centered on the screen, it will be easier for me to place the camera directly on the ground. I didn't think the footage would be that good, but it's really good. Overall this product is great for what I paid. The battery life is amazing, I used it for 4 hours straight and it was still well over 50%. I want the camera to record at 1080p, but 720p is still fine. I put in my 32GB SD card (which I usually use for my GoPro camera) instead of the 8GB they give, so I never have to worry too much about recording. The settings, features and settings can be a little confusing so be sure to read the instructions and don't worry if you get stuck like the first few times. This product has made my ice fishing about 100 times more enjoyable and I love making videos with it. Highly recommended.
