Review on Ms Apollo Polo Black Recycled Men's Clothing by Marcus Zimmerly

There are a few essential pieces of clothing that every man should have in his wardrobe, both for business and casual attire, and a quality black polo shirt is definitely one of them. If a man could only wear one casual shirt it would probably have to be a black polo due to its classic look and it looks great with almost anything and any pair of pants or jeans. I keep buying new ones to find the perfect fit and fabric. When I saw this shirt it looked promising so I took the opportunity to get it for review. At this slightly higher price point, I set the bar very high for my expectations. It has arrived and I have worn it several times. The fit is true to size, albeit more figure-hugging. I wear medium sized clothes at 5ft 10" and weigh 165lbs and they fit perfectly. The sleeve length is almost perfect, like Goldilocks, not too long or too short. The fabric is an artificial material, it is airy but not too transparent. The back of the shirt, not pictured, has a long loop-like seam at the top reminiscent of a golf or even a fisherman's shirt, which I'm growing The only dubious design is with the collar The collar is meant to remain sewn in, although I'm sure that it's made of thin plastic, which worries me a little when I wash it in water that's too warm. although all dark colors should only ever be washed in cold or lukewarm water. I think the polo shirt is naturally casual and hugs the body. It seems to want to be a hybrid shirt from casual to smart casual, which is ok, but it does seem to feel more serious and less lightweight than the polo I'm used to. I'll have to see how it grows on me, especially after a couple of washes which might loosen the collar a bit. Another note from me is the price, which feels a bit more premium, especially for garments made with man-made fabrics rather than premium Pima or cotton blend. Recommended with some limitations.
