I bought an Ulta straightener and it died in less than 18 months. I had to urgently look for another. This Parwin iron is good value and works great. I love that it has a safety feature that turns itself off after an hour if you forget to turn it off. It also has a security feature that requires you to press a few buttons to turn it on so it doesn't accidentally turn on (or kids can't turn it on). It heats up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit very quickly and works great. I love it. It is such a pleasure to receive such a wonderful product at a good price. I used to buy Solano irons for over $100 and eventually they stopped getting hot. Now I will buy Parwin irons.
