I love these sunglasses! I've been wearing Maui Jim Sugar Beach sunglasses since I was diagnosed with macular degeneration (about 7 years ago, it's an early stage and I don't care about its progression!) and my optometrist advised me to wear a good pair of sunglasses at all times when the sun rises. He recommended Maui Jims because no matter what frame you buy and how much you pay, you're always getting the best lenses and eye protection. This is the second pair I have bought from this seller. The first pair I bought recently broke, and Maui Jim has excellent customer service behind their two-year warranty. They will even fix what you break (like a temple). Updated May 3, 2019. I still wear these sunglasses, I have two pairs, one with brown lenses and the other with black and gray lenses. Love the eye protection as well as the style and the fact that they are so light. Apparently, to gain weight, I break them once a year. (They give you a great case, I really need to use it!) I'm willing to return the black ones for new lenses, $75 but way cheaper than new glasses and they usually replace anything else that needs replacing. or attitude. I can't say enough about their customer service. Great glasses and great support. And my macular degeneration isn't just staying because of these glasses, it's definitely part of the overall eye care and protection that's helping me.
