It's cute, has used a lot of rough play in a few months and the mouse is still on it. The rope that the toy mouse is tied to is actually elastic, which is great fun for cats - they like to tug on it - and still stays completely intact. This post is short! And that's not their only scratching/climbing spot. However, they love to sit on it / knock it down / climb all over the object and chase the mouse. It was a better buy than I expected and more affordable than I did. I bought this for a family member's little kitten who wasn't very interested in it so we gave it to my kittens who were about twice their age. I didn't expect them to be too interested either, but they love it.
