This is a review by Oscar Jaeger, Lois' husband. Either this is the worst digital scale imaginable or this particular device is defective. After attaching the scale to an object and lifting the object from its resting position (floor, table, etc.), you may think that the weight of the object is displayed on the scale. Instead, the scale will display a zero weight and then a negative weight if the object is allowed to return to its original position. As a result, you lose a lot of time before you get a positive weight, and even then you can't be sure if that weight is correct because of all the nonsense you've just experienced. I read the instructions and they do not help to fix this anomaly. I am returning this device.
