Review on 📱 KAKUSIGA iPad 4th Gen Touch Screen Glass Digitizer Replacement Kit – White by Aaron Allen

I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars. First: My iPad 4 had a screen splitter. Completely broken. I was able to use my device, but not without getting my hands on the glass. This replacement makes my iPad look brand new. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: You can find installation videos on YouTube. THIS KIT DOES NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. Personally, my spouse and I found Fixez's YouTube video short and sweet. YOU NEED OTHER TOOLS THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED. We also used the following: - "Precision" heat source. We used a hair dryer. - a tool with a flat edge for separating the old screen - we used a box blade / razor. (There is a tool for this, but that didn't work for us) - Tweezers (optional, useful for attaching ribbon cables) We really liked that the new screen comes with the necessary ribbon cables! We were struggling to figure out how to attach the home button flex cable since our original was covered in adhesive and broke when removing the old screen, so we found a very helpful YouTube video from iMobileRescue titled "Replacing the Home button ribbon cable with iPad 4. This gives a really good idea of what the attached end of this cable should look like (towards the end of the video). All in all, be very careful and cautious when replacing, watch the video before replacing, and this replacement screen will make your iPad look and work like new! Sincerely - a very satisfied customer
