Review on πŸ•οΈ Wildhorn Microlite Travel Towel Set: The Ultimate Microfiber Quick Dry Towel Bundle for Camping, Hiking & Backpacking by Dexter Rasberry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very important. Better pictures than Packtowl. Dries fast, light, not musty. Continuous. Great for my MCS.

I prefer these to the standard Packtowl (although admittedly I prefer the plush Luxe Packtowl to these for regular bath use). Strange as it may sound, they have a much nicer clasp on the hanging loop, which gives me audible and tactile confirmation that the clasp is locked and the loop is secure, unlike the clasps on the Packtowl which don't indicate it's secure and let my towel sometimes lying in a wet pile on the floor (hard to get microfiber pine needles out). dries _really_ fast. So far the seams and closures are holding up well. I don't think they contain silver ions but they didn't stink despite using them for a few weeks without washing (I make sure to dry them completely before storing). I have MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) and I often find that the fabric has an awful odor that takes multiple washes to get rid of (if it goes away at all) but these towels smelled nice on arrival (mesh storage bags must really air it out/wash it a little beforehand) and wash well. Because they dry so quickly and don't get moldy, I actually use them as bath and household towels. The colors don't go well with the decor, but that's the only downside in my opinion. Plus the price is great - three perfectly sized towels for the price of a regular full size Packtowl! If you want/need a little more 'plush' and can 'wipe dry' I recommend the aforementioned Luxe Packtowl which dries a little longer and is heavier/thicker but still outperforms traditional terry towels. . But if you prefer light weight/quick drying/better closures/better price. Go with these kids. I just bought my third set!
