Mechanical keyboards with tactile feedback are my favorites. After trying different switches, I settled on the blue option. Since I use a computer for a living, my fingers spend most of the day on the keyboard; I've tried MX with full throw blue, other blues with full throw and now this blue with short throw. 1. short stroke: If given a choice, I would still choose a full stroke; However, no stars are given as this feature is well advertised and worth a try. Tactile feedback is a bit stickier than other blue solid strokes that are crunchier. It's still light years ahead of other non-mechanical keys. Maybe it's the switches, maybe the reduced travel, but this is my only purchase with keys from this brand so I can't tell. This was the only 87-key tenkey I found: I bought it for the keymap (my main requirement), the rest came with it. Good enough. 2. Backlight: white suits me; it can be set to a constant white color suitable for comfortable operation in soft lighting conditions. There are no insufferable multicolored rainbow flashing indicators - for me that's a plus. full stars 3. Battery life: aah. There is a backlight for backup and it consumes power. The backlight turns off after a period of inactivity. Usually I can use the battery for 2-3 business days before I need to charge it again. Good enough; Maybe it could have been better, but the stars weren't removed. 4.Bluetooth: The keyboard can only control one device and will not switch between different connections. The connection to that one device will establish (or recover from sleep) quickly in most cases, but will drop out from time to time under certain conditions. The keyboard has a switch to select one of three connection states: USB wired Bluetooth off. When the keyboard is connected via USB for charging, the radio sometimes becomes uncomfortably confusing, even with the switch in the Bluetooth position. I've found it's best to remember to charge overnight if needed, as charging while at work is heavily associated with communication frustration. Works but needs improvement. A star is frozen. 5. Design and accessories: amazing. This is one of the best keyboards I have. It came with a key puller and several optional extra keycaps, some with colored tops and some with Apple or other schemes. seriously attractive price.
