Beautiful PC. The performance does what I want. In addition to gaming and streaming on Ultra, I also render a lot for work. The 3070 really is what I need, so I'm glad I got my hands on one of these! The biggest issue I encountered almost immediately was how high the CPU temperatures were. During gaming and rendering, the temperature rose to 80-85 degrees, which is unacceptable. Eventually the computer started shutting down due to high temperature spikes. The stock cooler is an absolute joke so I thought "OK, I'll just swap it out for a liquid cooler, no big deal" until I realized that the backplate on the motherboard isn't compatible with any aftermarket cooler. So just replace the backplate that comes with the new cooler, right? NOT CORRECT. The back panel is glued to the motherboard, so I had to heat the board and slowly loosen the glue with a credit card. At your own risk of course, but for my purposes it was 100% worth it. With the new liquid cooler, my CPU temperatures are about 20-30 degrees cooler. The power supply was a joke too. 500 watts just isn't enough. I have 700 watts which was an easy fix but still annoying. Finally, the case looks good but is too small for the required airflow. I have a nice medium sized tower with good ventilation which will make future upgrades much easier.
