Last summer I got hooked on the sausage shop and have never looked back. Until recently I used a meat grinder and sausage filler combo, which worked well for simple sausages. However, when I experiment with adding sauces (e.g. Korean spicy pork sauce or char siu sauce), the stickier consistency makes filling very difficult. I first learned how to fill using a commercial vertical syringe and I remembered it was very easy so as a starter I invested in these. And I have to say it was amazing. There are no problems with filling, the bowls stuff themselves. The suction is great, the controls are easy, I'm very happy with how it works. I usually make sausages in 1kg (about 2lbs) batches and I have to fill the tube once during the filling process, but it takes less than a minute and you don't have to remove the casing. I have made batches of 2kg, absolutely no complaints, especially considering the cheap price. "Missing sausage" is no larger than the size of the tube, which is the same for all fillings - I stuff the leftovers into the shell with a stick or scoop them out and make a schnitzel for a snack. Cleaning is very easy and it is easy to store. Another bonus is the customer service. One day I was too lazy and put the parts in the dishwasher, ignoring the instructions (don't do it, by the way). Although it was my fault, they replaced the parts without my asking. Very grateful for it, although I would easily buy it again. Unless you fill up massive batches of sausages, that's amazing. Ideal for sausage lovers.
