I have to say the last thing on my mind when I bought dental floss was charcoal! However, now that I've tried it, I'm a fan! What bothered me the most was some reviewers' question about frequent failures. I'm on a second spare spool (or bundle, whatever they call it) and have only had two breaks, equal to or less than the breaks of any other thread. So do not worry! The thread itself works well and is as good as anything I've used. My first purchase was a glass jar. While it's nice to see how much filament you have left, I found the container a bit small for my large hands. When I reordered the thread, I decided to try the bamboo case. For me this is exactly right! It is more stable on the medicine cabinet shelf and the lid fits well and tightly. I think I'll keep a very compact glass jar for my travel kit. Putting every possible use of bamboo charcoal filament aside, the benefit of only being able to buy spares and avoiding the endless tossing of plastic filament containers is a win! to attempt!
