Pretty strong clip. It's on the larger side so you can actually cut your long hair. Each clip has a unique color and the clips hold very well. It doesn't take much force to open, but it snaps in place pretty well. Different colors help you look different every day. The color does not fade or roll, which is nice. (No minus) Poorly kept in the water. One of the clips broke when I went swimming. I suspect it doesn't hold up very well in salt water, but it's not really made for swimming. Needless to say, the clips are very good. They are strong, durable and very good looking. They only work on long hair as it is a large bobby pin so be aware. It's just not something to swim with.
