Review on πŸ’§ Enhanced 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis System by AO Smith by Tyrazz Abouzar

Good water and filtration. but expensive and difficult to maintain

The water tastes very good but a new set of filters costs about the same as a new system and the supply practically ends when the filters start to age. The tank is huge and presents a major obstacle to working on anything else under the sink. Filter cartridges are extremely difficult to replace due to inlet alignment issues unless you correctly and accurately remove the previous cartridges. So far I've spent about an hour swapping out the pre and post filters. Suggestions: (1) Make sure the inlet water pressure is sufficient, otherwise you will be disappointed with the flow after the first month of use. (2) Plan to pay about 75% to 90% of the cost of the device every year. (3) Hang the filters where they are easily accessible, otherwise you will be very annoyed. (4) fully unroll the cartridge when it is time to remove it; Otherwise the cartridge will not align properly with the inlet and you will have to adjust the inlet to get the new cartridge back - this part can be annoying if you can't completely remove the assembly when replacing it. Pre/post filter every 4-6 months. It may be the best reverse osmosis filtered water I've tried, but the system isn't worth the hassle.
