Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Top-rated OtterBox Commuter Series Case - iPhone 12 Mini - Black by Bob Collins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as good as I expected.

I have used Otterbox (Defender twice, Commuter last) on my Samsung phones. This time I chose the iPhone 12 mini because of its smaller size, so I figured it wouldn't be hard to buy another commuter car that I liked. What I liked about the Commuter on my Samsung S8+ is how durable and grippy it is. While I'm careful with my phone, there are occasional falls. I had a screen protector on my phone but the added ribs at the top and bottom kept it from sliding face down on the table. The raised rear also protected the rear camera. And the plug protection was a bonus. I've used both wireless and wired charging with no issues. The buttons respond and feel perfectly. Now to this product. Otterbox Switcher for iPhone 12 mini. Yes, it makes the phone feel sturdy and grippy, just the way I like it. Yes, it has a lip that protects the screen when it's face down. but. The edge is quite high and sharp compared to my old Samsung case. Is this against the terms of the contract? no But for some it can be annoying. Since another reviewer stated that it makes swiping up difficult, I didn't have the same feeling and I find the swiping quite normal for me. Yes, the rear camera bump is protected by a raised body. I wasn't planning on getting to grips with all the new wireless charging technology as I just plug it in for faster charging. I wouldn't hold my breath that a recharge is possible even with this case given the thickness and not specifically made to support this feature. The same applies to any accessory that uses the magnet function. One thing I'm really not happy with is how tight the buttons are. It takes a lot of effort to get an answer and I feel like it's more difficult with one hand so I bought a smaller phone to fit it. Why do I want to use two hands to press a button? So I'm deducting a star because I think it's an important feature that's problematic for its purpose. do i like my case Yes, but I'm still not happy with the cramped keys that require force to press. Otherwise the case is a solid little beast that will protect my Mue phone.
