Review on 🧽 Linniw 6-Pack Replacement Steam Mop Pads - Compatible with PurSteam ThermaPro 10-in-1 Steam Mop by Marcus Chavva

Revainrating 3 out of 5

poor fit/fit

Why did I buy a steam cleaner that didn't come with its own replacement pads?! Pooh. You can buy many different "brands" of pads from random sellers at Revain and I think all you have to do is shop and try until you find one that works. How painful. These are just... uh. My biggest concern is that these particular pads have a pretty awkward velcro strap (aka velcro, but it's the worst imitation of velcro) making them difficult to apply (they don't stick!). They're also too small so they don't reach the edge of the plastic steamer, meaning the plastic will scratch your baseboards, appliances and cabinets, not the microfiber cloth. They are just.too.small. However, like the originals. Also, the shape of the steamer attachment is odd as there is no way to get into corners and as these pads don't reach to the edge of the steamer (especially after washing, even if you hand wash and dry) there aren't any Possibility of excess fabric to press it in the corner. So that your corners don't rub off. I think it's a flaw in the steamer's design, but a different mat might work better. To wash, I pre-washed them 3 times as recommended and hung them up to dry. I used one of the originals and about 4 spare towels, both hand and machine washed and usually hung dry although sometimes they got mixed up with the dryer load so they got hot. The original pad will look cleaner than the replacement pad after washing. I'm not entirely sure the original actually picked up as much dirt as the replacement units, which might explain its cleaner look. Hmmm. The photos show the edge of the replacement with raised edges is different from the edge of the original exposing more microfiber; size difference; fit and how to clean them. Their appearance is almost identical. The vape itself has its pros and cons, but that's another review. I like the steamboat and wish the head was shaped to reach the corners. Just note that you can't get pads anywhere other than in Revane as far as I can tell.
