Review on Marshall Minor III wireless headphones, black by Dorota Kownacka

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Switched from Minor II. Very satisfied. In terms of wearing comfort - the earcups are as large as those of the Minor II, and those who did not fit the second minors will not fit the third ones. Airpods in this regard are much more versatile, even if they lose in sound (compared on Pixel and iPhone). Minor III has less low frequencies, much less than in Minor II and even than in Airpods (but if there is a lot of bass in Minor II, and it is good, then in Airpods there is just a lot of bass, but it is not). At the same time, the sound itself is great, and the lack of wires and other goodies outweigh. Rock and electronic (idm, dnb) are coming with a bang. The mids and highs are great, without being overbearing and without even a hint of sibilance. Bottom - yes, sometimes there is not enough depth, because the lower frequencies are still noticeably less than expected, and at first you return to this issue. But at the same time, there is bass, and not smeared, but clear, good, and the same Airpods bypass the Minor III in terms of its quality. I do not recommend raising the bass with an equalizer, the sound will go to the seams. In addition, over time you get used to it, and the lower classes cease to be missed. When listening from a laptop, by the way, there are more bottoms and volume (aptx both there and there). Now to the plushies. Excellent phone call quality. Excellent microphone performance during calls. Excellent work paired with a laptop as a headset for calls (headphones as a sound source, I choose the microphone built into the laptop). For youtube and movies - the sound is gorgeous (including volume and depth), despite the delay standard for bluetooth headphones. Minor II could not be used in films, the sound was somehow not like that, and Minor III came out very versatile. Nice, no rattling, no rattling lid case (hello, Motif ANC case), with USB type C and wireless charging. When connected to a smartphone (Pixel 5) without any application, the right and left headphones and case are displayed separately, and each of them has its own charge level. And yes, these are not vacuum plugs, these are liners, it will not be possible to isolate oneself from the outside world. But just like Minor III liners are good.

Pros
  • Great look. Comfortable fit in the ears. Ease of use. Great sound. Aptx support. Duration of work. USB type C and wireless charging in the case.
Cons
  • lower frequencies. Not all fit in size.
