They are perfect for wearing in winter as they are very thick and warm. Daughter loved how soft and comfortable the inner material was. A few additional features that I love about the pants are that they are gender neutral in color and style, they have pockets, they have a slim fitting bottom so they don't drag on the floor, they have an elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring, and the outer material is very soft and pill-resistant. A lot of warmer/softer clothing these days comes off very easily and makes the clothing look ugly so I'm glad that's not the case. Overall, it looks very high quality / well made!
