With strong zippers, this backpack fits perfectly and the bottom half for shoes is very comfortable for my independent little girl. Now she can change or swap out her shoes without emptying her bag. No more searching for shoes or throwing away essential accessories for a quick shoe change. So far, the shoe area has easily accommodated 2 pairs. (Little girl, size 11, slippers and sneakers). It looks like it should last at least a year with light to medium dance use (ages 4-8).
