First the only cons, which were pretty clear from the list. This thing is NOT fancy, it just allows you to look outside. It has no night vision or motion detection. Now let's look back at some of the reviews. Like many other electronic devices, this device runs on reliable 1.5V AAA batteries. I tried using rechargeable batteries and got a stupid garbled video. Image quality is decent with ordinary AAA batteries. I also saw a review or two that said the picture was upside down. In this case you installed it wrong and you just need to rotate the camera part 180 degrees and voila. For the money, you can't beat this peephole monitor! Best of all, unlike the peephole, if you approach and look outside, the person outside can't see the change in brightness - they can't see anything. I highly recommend it if you're looking for basic peephole browsing with privacy.
