Thought they would be great as walking shoes in wet weather but too loose in the heel to be comfortable for long walks. And that after putting on a thick wool sock. (I have medium sized feet). Also, they fit well and have the characteristics I want: lightweight, lightweight, "barefoot" feel (minimal arch support). Too bad I didn't wear them around the house before my return time was up. Three to five stars. After a few walks around the neighborhood with and without socks, I changed my mind. I guess I just need to get used to the feel of Keen shoes (I've only worn their sandals). I wouldn't take them on long hikes, but I don't think they offered that option. They proved very comfortable with minimal support, which I like. Glad I didn't send them back!
