Since my 16 month old grandson gets everything off his feet I thought slippers could be better. Also, normal slippers were either too small 5-6 or too big 7-8. Socks and slippers solved this problem. He loves her and didn't pull her. He likes it when Elmo takes him for walks. Also, I have found the eyes to be VERY RELIABLE. I couldn't tear them off my slippers. Although the interior isn't "finished", I didn't find the material to "scratch". This is the third pair (I bought 5-6, then 7-8 and now 9-10. He loves them
