Only 2 issues I have with newer M1 Macbooks: multiple Thunderbolt ports (2) and no multi-display support. The latter confuses me the most, but battery life and high performance don't excite me. However, this unit allows me to add a second external display to my setup, which I very much prefer. You have to install drivers, but the experience is a breeze. The only downside is that the Apple Watch's integration with the MacBook suffers while the display drivers are active. Something to do with screen capture. I hope they fix this and the lack of multiple external display support, but until then it helps.
