For some reason the white part of the map is shrinking to the left. Which is odd because we kept it inside and only today decided to leave the door open and sit outside. The states we added to the map didn't shrink at all, just the white part of the map. As the left side of the card began to shrink, for some reason it lost its grip. So if you really plan on keeping this map while traveling across the states I would plan on getting a better quality map. Pay extra money, that's what you need to keep, you really want to be able to use it for that long. Learn from my mistake because now I have to buy a second one and hope this one doesn't get blown away by the wind and is too ruined in the meantime for me not to have to think about which states we actually spent the night in if I repeat later
