Audio Hum Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Plugging a speaker into the 3.5mm jack produces either a low hum or a loud buzz. I thought it was a bad cable so I bought another one. nope The cables worked properly when connected to the computer. The sound disappeared only when passing through this device. Now in the trash.
