These are great storage bags. We started looking for alternative storage when we noticed an unpleasant smell from branded ziplock bags that we've been buying for years. Sometimes we could notice the strange taste of some dishes. We've experimented and found that this isn't the case when we've kept bags of other products - bold and cheerful and some private labels. We don't want our food to taste like plastic, so we started buying glass storage containers. These grab bags seem to be fine, at least we don't notice anything. So remember that a toxic smell can mean something bad or nothing at all. As for my family, this will not be part of our diet.
