Review on Wi-Fi router netis WF2780, black by Kai Wen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

This is the second Netis 2780 that I have owned. The first one has been operational for a good number of years. The flight will be like any other, so I decided to take the second one. As a point of comparison, there was another Dlink-615 running in parallel; it is still functional, despite the fact that it is rather outdated and underpowered. When it came time to purchase a new router, I also looked into D-Link options. But, my primary router was an ASUS RT-N65U, and I have decided that ASUS is not a brand that I would ever purchase again. Since after the first year of the guarantee, it started to become defective. First, the Wi-Fi block caught fire and stopped working, and then, after it had been operational for a number of years, it suddenly became entirely bent. Without prior warning of any kind. After that, I discovered that ASUS routers are well-known for having this capability. In addition, purchasing an ASUS router is like entering a massive lottery. The loss of money is almost certainly inevitable. Netis was the only workhorse I had available to me. This included setting it up in less than ten minutes and then forgetting about it. I wanted a reliable and speedy network in addition to Wi-Fi in every room of a three-bedroom residence. He is able to handle 5 with these responsibilities. It is true that he is standing in my apartment very close to the center. It should come as no surprise that the signal and speeds will degrade with increasing distance. In addition to that, our walls are made of reinforced concrete. Nonetheless, a reliable signal can be found anywhere. Several configuration choices on the router were a surprise to me. I use one computer to download torrents, I have another computer that serves as my file storage, and I use one computer to print documents. Hence, in my opinion, each of these functions was completely superfluous. In addition to that, Netis does an excellent job with everything else. Very simple to set up, despite the fact that the most recent firmware appears to have a few errors in the user interface. I put it through some rigorous testing for downloads. Concurrently, I initiated the downloading of torrents at a top speed of 8 MB/s. In addition, while using the network, I am copying a very huge file at the highest possible speed. In addition to that, I watched IPTV HD TV, and the stream was completely uninterrupted. The processing load on the router was somewhere between 70 and 80 percent. The temperature has begun to rise, although it is not yet dangerous. Thus, feel free to go with Netis if you want a home router that is both affordable and dependable. My second older Netis router is currently functioning for me as a bridge in its current configuration. In the event that the first one is compromised in any way, I will immediately restore the entirety of the network. This makes me really angry and frustrated.

Pros
  • Wi-Fi throughout the entire three-room flat, a network with 1 Gigabit of capacity, IPTV, and cost.
Cons
  • The web interface has some issues that need to be fixed. A 5Hz network hidden behind a wall of concrete is significantly slower.
