I love wool. This is an excellent quality product that is very warm. The mittens are VERY SMOOTH without the suede padding on the bottom, but this issue can easily be solved by applying a thin layer of silicone sealer to the palms and letting it dry for 1-1 and 1.2 hours. (If you're short on time, you can always use a blow dryer to speed up the drying time.) I applied sealer to the bottoms of my hands and the inside of the thumb of each glove, and can keep a slippery stainless steel water bottle in between. my mittens with no problem and drive safely without worrying about slippage when using and turning the steering wheel. I am a woman who wears a 7.5 length mitten and this was right after I cut off part of the nail on my middle finger. . I have thin thin fingers of normal size and I have plenty of room to move them around on my fingers in my mitten "box". The price is great for the quality of the product and you can easily buy a second pair to keep in the trunk. of your car and a third pair to leave in your camping gear/BOB without breaking the bank. I bought this item to replace a pair of mittens after losing the right one and I'm glad I did! I will definitely buy again if the need arises without thinking about buying another pair.
