Also this knife organizer works great, fits perfectly in my knife drawer

I got tired of throwing all my knives in the drawer where they moved around and became dull very quickly. I would have to sharpen my knives every two months. I have my own stones so paying for sharpening wasn't a problem, but doing it so often was annoying. Storing knives in a black box, tray or magnet will keep them sharp much longer than letting them rattle freely in a drawer. The knife organizer fits most of my knives well. You seem to be having a problem with my Wusthof and Anolon knives. although there are no problems with the Japanese. The problem is that my Wusthof and my Anolon have a large guard on the heel of the knife. The gap is not wide enough for the guard to fit, causing the knife tip to rise. It's not that big of a problem with my regular chef's knife, but it's a problem with my santoku knife. The design of the knife and the very thick crossguard cause the tip and even the blade to protrude from the slot. Also, this knife organizer works great, fits perfectly in my knife drawer and even has smaller spaces for my paring knives. It's a good buy for the price, it's just that they made the bottom of the slots a bit wider to fit in the guard as well.

Pros
  • Easy access to all your knives
Cons
  • High price
