This part is one of those things you don't realize its value until you go to the grocery store because you can't start your car. The item is very small, about the size of a coin. But it is extremely important to return home. This is a DYI installation type. Lots of installation videos on YouTube. I installed it on my 2008 Nissan Xterra after 150,000 miles. So it is after you understand the importance of returning home. Evacuation + loss of work + waiting time = not good. I would recommend if your SUV is over 100,000 just replace it. Hope that helps.
